SBA buys TowerCo towers

According to a press release:

TowerCo, a wireless tower developer says it has agreed to sell up to 430 towers to Boca Raton-based SBA Communications for as much as $193.5 million.

SBA operates approximately 6,000 towers for companies that include ATT and VZW.

TowerCo, founded in 2004, raised $30 million in venture backing from Tailwind Capital and another $30 million from the Soros Fund Management in 2005. TowerCo says it will continue developing wireless towers.
