"Highwinds Network Group Inc., a multi-platform IP services and content distribution provider, has closed a $55 million round led by General Catalyst Partners and Alta Communications. It will fund build-out of Highwinds Rolling Thunder network infrastructure. The company’s unveiled its Rolling Thunder network today in conjunction with a partnership between Highwinds, Digital Rapids Corp., and Knack Networks to create advanced IPTV solutions for professional media companies globally."
